After many years of paperwork, a close friend (former Army officer) was finally able to bring his Afghani interpreter to the USA on a visa and has settled him in Sacramento, CA.
The interpreter brought his immediate family. They were experiencing reprisals and death threats from the bad guys in Afghanistan because of the interpreter’s work with coalition forces. Unfortunately, the murder of interpreters and their families is commonplace in Afghanistan.
My friend and the interpreter are searching for a job – any job – for the interpreter so that he can support his family and stay in the US.
The interpreter speaks English and is very eager to build a life here.
Can anyone help?
