If it wasn’t for the last minute, nothing would get done. I just completed several hours of course work in under an hour. I still have a few more assignments to finish, but I’m no longer in panic mode. I see my husband so rarely that, when he is home, I don’t want to do school work; all I want to do is spend quality time with him, and quality time does not involve school work. My husband will be deployed when next semester rolls around, so I’ll go back to how things were in the fall, with an even and relaxed approach to my school work. At this point, I’m just sprinting to this semester’s finish line.
My husband and I did some cherry blossom adventuring this weekend! We went to a local park and Yoyogi Park in Harajuku. Last year, we arrived in Japan 1 week too late to see the cherry blossoms, so I am SO excited that this year we have the opportunity to see them in full boom. This is a time of great pride and beauty in Japan. Tonight, a friend and I are going to Yokohama to see cherry blossoms lit-up at night!
Here are a few pictures that we took on our iPhones and our fancy schmancy camera 🙂
